API3’s Airnode protocol allows for the deployment of data feeds for tokens across various blockchain networks.

Blue Chip (HAIBC)

HAIBC is a basket of Blue Chip crypto assets. These assets are voted upon by the DAO under specific on-chain and liquidity metrics.

Capitalization Method (CM)

Capitalization Method is the process of liquidity providers selling their LP tokens back to the protocol in exchange for DAMO at a discount.

Collateralized Vaults

Lockers that contain assets that act as collateral. This collateral can then be used to leverage something else. In this case, it leverages DIV tokens.

The governance token for the DAMO Protocol.

DAMO or Decentralized Asset Management Organization.

DAMO protocol

The system governing the HAI ecosystem.

Decentralized Investment Vehicles (DIV)

Decentralized investment vehicles are products of the collective consensus of the DAO. These are a basket of assets that are minted by depositing an approved ERC-20 token into a vault. The assets in each DIV are up to the discretion of the DAO.

DIV Reserves

DIV reserves are held to ensure that each DIV is overcollateralized at all times. This is a precautionary mechanism set in place in the event of DIV value exceeding vault value.

HAI Ecosystem

The HAI Ecosystem refers to the DAMO, or decentralized asset management organization and its products.

Liquidity Mining

DAMO will be released through liquidity mining events on a regular schedule.

The sell-off of assets in a vault is the collateral-to-debt ratio exceeds that of the liquidation ratio.

Minting is the process of validating information, creating a new block, and recording that information into the blockchain. In this case, creating a DIV token.

Off-chain voting

Off-chain voting refers to our community forum in which anyone can participate in community discussions.

On-chain voting

On-chain voting refers to the polls in which DAMO token holders participate in governing.

Polls are the mechanism used to propose alterations to the portfolios along with the management of the DAMO protocol.

Protocol Controlled Value (PCV)

Protocol controlled value refers to the amount of value that is in the DAO's treasury and can be used at the discretion of the DAO.

Protocol Owned Liquidity

Protocol-owned liquidity is enabled by the capitalization method. The CM involves the owner of the LP token selling it back to the DAO for a discount. This makes the protocol have the highest % of the LP pool. The protocol facilitates most buy and sell transactions and accrues revenue for providing liquidity.

Staking cryptocurrencies is a process that involves committing your crypto assets to support a blockchain network and confirm transactions. In this case specifically securing the protocols incentives to allow for DAMO members to be rewarded for participation.

sDAMO is DAMO that is in a staking contract.
